💼 Travel Bursaries

How do I apply for a travel bursary?
Complete the online bursary form by Monday 21 July. Support covers standard-class travel and accommodation. Priority will be given to presenting authors without access to other funding.

🎤 Presenting

My submission was accepted but I can’t attend. Can someone else present for me?
Yes. Please ensure the new presenter includes the submission ID and relevant details when registering.

I submitted to the ‘World-Class Research Track’ but received a poster slot. Can this be changed?
Unfortunately, no. Due to the volume of submissions, we could not accommodate all as oral presentations.

Is there a poster template available?
No. Posters should be A0 size, portrait orientation. Please print and bring your poster with you. Boards and fixings will be provided. Presentation slots will be assigned for either Day 1 or Day 2.

📄 Submissions

Are AISI-funded projects eligible to submit to UKAIRS?
Yes. Any research funded through UKRI AI investments, including AISI, is eligible.

Do poster proposals also need to follow ACM TAPS paper formatting?
Yes. All submissions—oral or poster—should follow the ACM TAPS workflow guidelines.

Should proposals be formatted in one or two columns?
Please format your submission in two-column layout, as per ACM guidelines.

Are there specific topics required for emerging research proposals?
No. As long as the work is AI-related and part of a UKRI-funded project, it’s eligible.

Can we include images or flowcharts?
Yes. Visuals may be embedded within the main text or added as an appendix.

Is a separate abstract required for emerging research proposals?
No. A separate abstract is not required.

For poster proposals, should we submit a separate sheet with the title, abstract, and authors?
No. This information should be included within the main proposal document.
